WFW - Nitro! - Episode 2

JR: Welcome everybody! We are here live in a sold out Nitro Zone! Just one week ago we saw some incredible events transpire, and hopefully we've got more coming tonight!
King: That's right JR! Ric Flair can't be here due to family commitments so the network's owner, Eric Bischoff, will be in charge instead. Let's see what decisions he makes.

JR: It's certainly going to be something special, King! I'm looking forward to what should be a blockbuster main event, The Rock vs Daniel Bryan!
King: Well, I seem to have suspicions he will be alongside Lesnar. That's not going to end well, for Bryan at least.
JR: That's true, King. We've got something special here to kick off the show, the debut of Hulkamania! Hulk Hogan is here!

King: The crowd have erupted, JR! This is incredible! I've never seen anything like this.. there's a reason he's the biggest name in wrestling!

JR: He's something special, for sure! I've heard fans of his call him the 'biggest name in Wrestling'. That's no title to be thrown around!
King: Certainly isn't JR! Have you seen that leg drop?! I caught a tape of Hogan backstage, the guy is crazy!

JR: I have seen it, but thankfully the WFW fans will see it now too! They are all over him it's crazy!
King: This is true star power, JR.


King: Posing for the cameras, lapping it all up.. Hogan knows exactly what he means to this packed Nitro Zone.
JR: He's a star, for sure!

Hulk Hogan: Well let me tell you something, brother! First of, I'd like to welcome everyone to Nitro!
JR: The fans are going absolutely nuts! Hulkamania is in full effect!

Hogan: When Flair told me he was taking charge of World Figure Wrestling, I told him good for him. Never did I think that all the Hulkamaniacs would pack the Nitro Zone! Hulkamania is running wild in you Brothers! I didn't just come here for no reason.

Hogan: I came here for that WFW title. I refused entry into the draw, I am going to bite, scratch and claw my way to the top brother! I'm going to do it for all the Hulkamaniacs all over the world! I sat back for the first episode and let me tell you something brother, the whole of WFW will feel the force of Hulkamania!

JR: He wants that title! This will be interesting, King. The fans are delighted at the call, but with such a packed Title picture, will he be able to make his mark?
King: It's the Immortal Hulk Hogan! There's no way he won't, JR!

Hogan: So whatcha gonna do when...

JR: What the hell?

JR: I thought so, it's Daniel Bryan. I was talking to him earlier and he told me he was a huge Hulkamania fan, but what's he doing here?
King: Isn't it obvious JR?! He's one of the millions of Hulkamaniacs running wild all over the world!

JR: Maybe so, King. I mean look at that, he's presenting him like he's royalty..
King: He's wrestling royalty, JR!

Hogan: What's good, brother? I have seen some of your work, I am impressed.

JR: A handshake between the two, they are clearly held in high regard. It's nice to see such respect in WFW.

Daniel Bryan: Ladies and Gentlemen, give it up one more time. This man was my idol growing up, putting on some of the biggest matches of all time. Anyone would want that type of fame, so I came out here to just pay my respects to one of the all time greats.

Bryan: You were the reason I got into this sport. You alone. Your work in this 20 foot, by 20 foot squared circle. No one's done as much for this sport as you have.

Bryan: Give it up one more time.

Bryan: Fans at home, realise how lucky you are to see this greatness in a WFW ring.

JR: Wow, class act from Bryan.
King: Sure is, JR! He's really letting Hogan have his moment in WFW. That's why he has the respect of the fans, and the locker room here.



JR: MY GOD! What?! He's just dropped Hogan!? What the?!
King: I can't believe it?! What is going on?

JR: He's just laid Hogan flat out! What on earth?

King: What?! This is insane, he's nearly kicked Hogan's head off!
JR: Maybe all that 'respect' talk was all lies? Why did he feel the need to take such a huge moment out of someone's career?
King: It's just utter disrespect, JR. I can't believe he's done this. It's surreal.

JR: He has laid Hogan flat out. Why on Earth has he done this?!
King: This was a historical moment in the 8 years of WFW, and it's been ruined by Hogan. Absolutely disgusting.

JR: The fans are booing him to eternity! This is genuine hatred, they packed this arena to see Hogan, imagine how let down they must feel?

King: It's sickening to see Hogan just flat out there, not knowing where he is.. Bryan.. why?
JR: The crowd are disgusted, as am I. Why do this?

JR: Absolutely horrible. I hope Hogan puts him away for good.
King: Me too, JR. This is only the start of it!

JR: I think that honestly, whilst we may be in for a treat for the rest of the show, the previous events have put a dampener on things, especially on that crowd. They aren't happy.
King: Understandably, JR. I don't think there's a valid reason for what Bryan just did. It was flat out disgusting.

JR: Speaking of disgusting, there's the man, CM Punk! He went on a very odd rant last week, but it's obvious he is annoyed at the current standing of WFW, given he is currently up for the 'lowest value' title.
King: Well, everyone has to start somewhere, but he definitely thinks he should have started at the top. Not sure I agree with him.
JR: True, King. If he was that good, surely he'll get there. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he did. He's definitely got it in him.

CM Punk: This is a joke! You put Edge against me?! The best in the world at what I do? What is this? This company hasn't changed since those pathetic days of 2 years ago!

CM Punk: 'Edgeheads' as you call yourselves, you moronic people, prepare to have your "favourite" superstar destroyed. You idolize a false talent.

CM: But not for much longer.
Edge: Punk! No one wants to hear it!

JR: Oh! That'll shut Punk up, Edge has launched at Punk delivering a huge series of hits.
King: It was a great shot, JR. Don't think anything will shut Punk up.

JR: This might! Edge is looking for a DDT on that rock hard floor? This is crazy, what a start to this match!
King: The referee isn't even down here yet, the match hasn't even started yet!

JR: Oh! Edge is pushed off, Punk has managed to get away from something potentially threatening there.
King: Edge has gone shoulder first into that steel turnbuckle, JR!

JR: Oh! He has! That's the thing with Punk.. He talks the talk, but I think he can back it up too, unfortunately. The man is incredibly talented in that ring.
King: And around it too, by the looks of things. I think honestly here, Edge is talented, but Punk when on top of his game is something else.

JR: Oh yeah, but let's not take away the fact that Edge has done some incredible things in the wrestling world. There's a reason Flair was desperate to keep him on a WFW contract.
King: For sure. Where's that damn ref!? The match will be over before it's begun!

JR: Punk doesn't care, continuing his flurry of attacks, delivering some huge kicks to Edge's mid-section.

King: See, JR. This is something I disagree with, why doesn't he just get the job done? He and many others seem to, in all honesty, try and play up to the fans.
JR: It's all part of Punk's game plan. The boo's seem to spur him on for some reason.
King: Eh, I'll never understand it.

JR: Here we go, the ref has finally arrived. Punk however is still delivering that constant attack that makes him so prominent in this ring.
King: Even though he has his opinions, Punk recognises every match is important. This match is definitely important. The winner will get to face RVD for that X championship. Punk didn't sound too impressed, but he knows he has to win title matches in order to become a true great in this company.

JR: That he does, King. RVD was an interesting one last week. I've never seen a wife get involved.
King: It wasn't just a wife getting involved, it was a well thought out invasion. He knew what he was doing.

JR: Edge just reversed that DDT attempt driving Punk into the turnbuckle, that was some great work!
King: Told you, JR. These are two very talented athletes, as you'll see.

JR: Continuing the jabs, Punk is getting pummelled in that corner!

King: This is the thing with Edge, he has great ring awareness, he realises the space around him.
JR: That's true, King. He's taking Punk to the other turnbuckle..

King: Punk has reversed the attempted drill into the turnbuckle, he saw it coming....


JR: Woah, great belly-to-belly suplex.
King: That was well executed, the momentum has changed here. This is where Punk needs to be in this match.


JR: Punk is literally stomping Edge through that ring, the ref is ordering Punk to step away!
King: These kicks have serious force, JR.. Punk doesn't mess about!

Ref: Get off! Punk, I'll disqualify you!

Ref: Punk! Punk! Get off! I'll ring that damn bell!

Ref: You got 3 seconds Punk!

Punk: Shut the hell up! Who the hell do you think you are?!
JR: Woah, Punk nearly disqualified there, the ref was having none of it!
King: This is surprising, Punk never takes his eye off the game!

JR: Doesn't look like he has, King. I think Punk just has that awareness, like you mentioned Edge has.
King: That's true, JR.

JR: Oh! Edge reverses the attempted grapple, delivering a huge shot to Punk!
King: Right in the face, Edge with a great strike!

King: Going for that DDT he failed to hit outside the ring...

King: Boom! Dropping Punk right on his head!

JR: Could this be it?! Both men in seperate corners of the ring.. could Edge be going for his trademark spear here?
King: I hope so, I love that move.

JR: Woah! The crowd have erupted! They know he wants to spear Punk in half!
King: I think he might just do that, Edge is screaming for him to get up!

JR: If he turns around he's in trouble, King!
King: Sure is.. Come on Edge!

JR: Oh! Jesus! Edge just speared everything he had into that turnbuckle!
King: His shoulder! My god that must've killed him, the pain he must be in!

JR: He's rolling around the ring, screaming! He's in serious pain... Wait.. Is Punk laughing?
King: I think he is, JR! Wow, that's sickening!

JR: Looks like it's bed time for Edge, Punk is setting up that Go To Sleep!
King: If he drives that knee into Edge, there's no kicking out of that!

King: Edge is grabbing onto those ropes! With all he's got damnit!
JR: He can't have that GTS land.. It literally will put his jaw out of place.

King: He's used the ropes as leverage to get out of it..
JR: That was smart, but doesn't he still look a bit dazed to you?
King: That spear has taken a lot out of him!

JR: Oh! And so would that! Superkick!
King: My god! Edge's jaw! The whole arena felt that impact!

JR: The huge impact sends Edge to the outside, right infront of us..

King: Punk showing no mercy.. this has to be it!

JR: He's using the ropes as leverage, he's cheating! Punk, come on!

King: Punk has done it.. He faces Rob Van Dam for that title! This is the start of Punk's rise to the top.
JR: Edge put a lot into that match, King. Credit to him.

King: Well, there we have it, Punk has kicked the show off with a win.

JR: After some celebrating, Punk has finally left the ring.
King: He milked that one, didn't he?!

King: Look he's still here!
JR: The match obviously meant something to him, or he's making a mockery of it.
King: Think he's making a mockery, really.

Edge: Give me.. that damn.. mic!
JR: You heard the man, King!

Edge: Punk!....Punk!... Don't go too quickly...

Edge: This isn't... the end.. If anyone is going to shut you up.. it will be me!

King: Yes Edge! He's determined to shut Punk up! Thank god!

JR: Well, yeah, but Punk's reminding him, and the crowd that he did in fact win.. It's fine talking the talk, but Punk has actually picked up the win..
King; That he has, unfortunately. Well, next up on Nitro we have word that Rob Van Dam will address the controversy surrounding his win last week!
JR: That should be interesting, see you in three minutes!

JR: Welcome back! I wonder what RVD is going to say here?
King: Well he needs to clear this up, really. I don't see why he felt the need to bring out his wife, really. I think he could've beaten Rey.


JR: The fans didn't want to see these two, that's for sure.
King: Can you blame them, JR?

King: They look so proud of each other, it's just wrong.
JR: I don't disagree, King. I want to hear a reason behind it, though.

RVD: Well then! Shut up! Shut up! No one paid to hear you! You all paid to see me!

RVD: Last week you all saw me beat Rey Mysterio in this very ring. That's no small feat, but it also means that I am unbeaten. You hear that?! No one has beaten me!

Maria Van Dam: Yeah, no one's beaten him.. and no one will! Not Punk, Mysterio, no one! And Mysterio can cry all he wants, not only is he a loser.. his wife is a whore!

RVD: You hear that? Mysterio? Your wife has been exposed on Worldwide Television. Boo hoo!

RVD: That's it, Maria, soak it all in! They're only jealous of how great we are!

King: Woah, who's that running down to the ring?
JR: One could only imagine that it's Mysterio's wife!

King: She's come to WFW?
JR: Rey must have brought her with him tonight, maybe she can't take listening to that anymore?
King: That's understandable.

JR: Oh! Huge hit from Mysterio's wife, she's just knocked the lipstick off her mouth!

King: Well, this is a squabble! Van Dam's only just noticed, Maria's getting pummelled by Mysterio's wife!

JR: And here's Mysterio! Van Dam has managed to separate the two people, wonder if Mysterio will attack Van Dam?
King: They've got wives to sort out here!

JR: Mysterio only has eyes for Van Dam, however!


King: Here we go, 619!

JR: I think Maria knows it's coming too, she's fled the ring!

King: Oh no, before Mysterio can get to Van Dam she's pulled him out the ring, what a let down!
JR: Well, it's a smart tactic.

King: Look at them, running scared! Mysterio is furious! He wants to kick Van Dam's head off!

JR: Looks like they've escaped that one, by the skin of their teeth!

King: Well that's only escalated matters!
JR: It sure has! We'll catch you after the break, stick with us for that huge Main Event, where The Rock takes on Daniel Bryan for a shot at the WFW World Heavyweight Championship!

JR: Welcome back! Last week, we saw The Great Khali come in and interrupt Big E's speech about winning the IC title, and tonight Big E will prove if he was all talk, or if he can get that shot.
King: Well, if he wins, he's facing Khali. That's extra motivation for the huge Jamaican man.

JR: Huge he is! But still, I have never seen anything like Great Khali. The man is over 7 foot tall.
King: It's surreal height, but Big E definitely has the strength to somewhat match up.

JR: Definitely, I don't think anyone is truly as strong as Khali but he definitely comes close.
King: Well, let's see if he can use that strength effectively.

JR: Crowd behind him here tonight.
King: Always good to see the crowd get behind someone.

JR: Well, as we saw previously on 'Main Event' Mankind makes his opponents wait before he comes down to the ring. Mind games for sure.
King: Mankind hasn't got a stable mind to play games with! The man is crazy!

JR: The half shirt half wrestler combined with the mask, it just adds up to an odd character.
King: I've never seen anything quite like him.

JR: Even with that slightly unstable mind, he knows Big E could potentially do serious damage, much like Khali to Goldust last week.
King: Goldust was nearly killed, he was put out of action for weeks. That's just the power of these men.

JR: The ref is making sure Big E knows the rules here.
King: This is important, for the safety of both men. Big E could just lose it. No one wants that.

JR: That's the bell. Honestly don't have high hopes for this one, Big E needs to send a message to Khali with this.

King: The two men are locked in a battle, here we go...

JR: He's got him up!

King: Again?! That's a pretty strong message he's going to send, especially if he's putting him through that ring!
JR: I think he might just do that, King!

King: Oh! My God! Two of those Big Slams at that's all she wrote, the ref's gone for the count..

King: Well, that's definitely showed Khali what he's capable of.
JR: To finish off another man, that fast, just wow! These two are going to have a great match for the Intercontinental Championship!

King: They sure will! Khali's walking off, he doesn't want to see Big E have his arm raised as the winner but..
JR: I'm sorry King, but I'm going to have to interrupt you, I'm getting word there is a serious conflict backstage between Rey and his wife!

Rey: Are you serious? Really? Going after Maria like that? For real?

Kelly: Well, I needed to shut her up! Something needed to be done!
Rey: Yeah and that something should've came at his championship match! You remember the plan!

Eric: Woah, Rey, tone it down. It's clear you two have a problem.

Eric: But it's a problem I can fix. How about, next week on Nitro, we have for the first time ever, a mixed tag match? You and Kelly, against RVD and Maria?

Eric: There you have it people, next week on Nitro, we have Rey Mysterio, Kelly Kelly against Rob Van Dam and Maria Van Dam!

Van Dam: You hear that, Maria? We gotta face Mysterio's bunch of losers next week... All because you couldn't keep that mouth shut!
Maria: It was a good line! It just means next week, we'll get to destroy them, with no complaints from anyone!

Van Dam: You really think it'll be that easy? Mysterio's got the Network on his side! This is a set up!

Rock: Finally. The Rock has come back...

Rock: To this hell hole. The most electrifying man in sports entertainment is here to grace your screens. Oh yeah, you are that lucky.

Rock: The goat I'm about to face will wish his ugly ass never left the farm he came from.

JR: Well then.. It's finally time for our Main Event! We know now that the Rock is bringing out Lesnar, how much does that change things?
King: I think it's pretty obvious! He's going to use Lesnar to win this match!

JR: Well either way, the fans are looking forward to it and so am I. The Rock has always been great in the ring, Daniel Bryan on the other hand... After what he did to Hogan I don't think anyone wants to see him here.

King: I know I certainly don't want to see him here.

JR: There he is, the current only person in the Title match. Brock Lesnar!
King: The man is an animal, he's definitely going to be champion if The Rock doesn't get in that match.

King: The Rock has a constant smirk on his face, he knows exactly what he's doing.
JR: I think that we are in for some clever trickery here. He's going to try and use Lesnar to his advantage, something obviously not permitted in a match like this.

King: The atmosphere changes every time The Rock steps on that turnbuckle. The most electrifying man in sports entertainment.

JR: I just wish he'd cut the crap out. He's obviously very talented and has won WFW titles before, but he doesn't need anyone with him.
King: Thats true, JR. I think if Lesnar realises he's being used, The Rock will still land on his feet. That's just how talented he is!

King: Here's another man that is meant to be very talented, at least he gained a lot of followers due to his supposed talent in the underground Wrestling circuit.

King: Well, judging by the way he laid out a legend in Hulk Hogan, it certainly suggests talent!
JR: Oh yeah, but that was a surprise attack, what happens when he's in a genuine match?

King: Oh! The Rock has attacked Bryan before he's in the ring!
JR: A surprise attack means The Rock takes charge in the start of this match. Definitely something he had planned before coming down to this ring.


King: Oh! The Rock drops Bryan on his head with a DDT.
JR: Decent move there by The Rock. I think he might not need Lesnar here.
King: Even so, I can still see him make an appearance tonight.

JR; Well hopefully you are wrong.
King: I hope so too. Still, if he's got it, he might as well use it.

JR: The Rock has continued his offence here kicking Bryan, who's using the ropes to try and pull himself away from the flurry of attacks.

King: Oh man, the ref has a tough job. Punk nearly knocked him out and The Rock looks like he might too. These men need to put their opponents away, but the referee has to do his job at the end of the day.
JR: It's true, King. He's doing a good job though.

King: Well, Bryan looks like he's onto something here...

JR: My god! He's drilled The Rock onto that post!
King: Jesus, that must've hurt.

King: Smart move by Bryan, enabling him to get back into the ring here.
JR: It's not going to win him the match, but it has done him some good here. Bryan using the ring as a weapon is legal, and very smart.

King: Bryan setting up for a belly to back..

JR: Oh! the Rock pushes Bryan onto the post. Good reversal there.
King: Lesnar on the outside here. After splitting Batista in half, imagine what he could do to Bryan!

JR: That's true. The under dog prevails sometimes though, and Bryan should definitely not be counted out too early here.
King: Oh yeah, I think he could easily surprise us all here. It would put a wrench into The Rock's plans.
JR: He definitely needs everything to go his way tonight and until the PPV.

King: I think it just might!

King: Maybe not, Bryan has ducked under the Rocks jab...

JR: This is going to result in something special..
King: he's setting himself up for some kicks I think!

JR: Oh! Huge kick to the back of The Rock's leg!
King: Directly onto his knee, could've snapped his damn leg in half!

King: Well the kick has put The Rock down to his knees, Bryan looking to follow up!
JR: Bryan is actually showing us some impressive stuff here, he definitely has the talent to be a big star here.

JR: Woah, what's this!?
King: He's driven the Rock into that turnbuckle post!

JR: Both men are taking a lot out of each other here. It's truly a clash of champions.
King: Definitely. It's going to take one wrong movement or a piece of genius to split this one here, JR.

JR: Following up with a reverse DDT to continue this attack on The Rock. He's yet to use Lesnar, do you think he brought him out just as a scare tactic?
King: Potentially. It would definitely work, especially if I was in that ring.

King: Lesnar looks worried on the outside there JR. I wonder if he's going to get involved?!

JR: You might be right, King! The ref has gone for the count..

King: Oh! The Rock kicks out, Lesnar is relieved.
JR: He would've had to step in at some point there, but thankfully for him The Rock has got out of this one.

King: Woah, what's this? JR, look!
JR: He's called Lesnar over, is this what Lesnar has been waiting for? I think he's been wanting on in this match for some time now.
King: Wouldn't surprise me.

JR: Oh, ultimate disrespect from Bryan here. He's copying the Rock's trademark 'Just Bring It' pose.
King: This man just doesn't understand what respect is. First with the completely disgusting move on Hogan, now this.. I hope someone stops this. I really do.

JR: The Rock is having none of it going for an irish whip into the turnbuckle..

King: Oh! Great force into that turnbuckle, The Rock looks happy with how that one ended up!
JR: King, look at the ref! He thinks Lesnar got involved when he was over with The Rock and is having words with him, is he sending him to the back?
King: Is he stupid? The ref is about to get his head snapped off by that animal!

JR: Whilst The Rock continues on Bryan, I don't think he's realised that his buddy here has been reprimanded by the Ref!
King: He's going to be devastated when he finds out! This is the plan messed up right here!

King: Oh! He's landed a great DDT but it's obvious his mood is going to change once he sees what's happening with Lesnar.
JR: Him and the ref are still arguing on the other side of the ring here, Lesnar is furious as he hasn't really done anything.
King: I think the ref wants to take no chances, he could've slipped him anything when he was in that corner!

JR: Look at the two of them! Literally screaming into the ref's face, Lesnar is having none of it! He technically has done nothing wrong so he does have a point, but this is disastrous for The Rock and Lesnar!

King: It's official, he wants him outta here!
JR: I don't blame him, King! Lesnar is furious but the Rock is still oblivious as he lands a huge body slam to Bryan!

King: Here we go, The Rock knows exactly what's going on here. His whole plan is falling apart right infront of his eyes!
JR: His championship dream might be over right here, he saw Lesnar as his ticket!

JR: He's usually not short of things to say but I think he might just be exactly that here, this well thought out plan to get The Rock facing Lesnar for an easy Rock win has just completely fell through!
King: My god, JR! Lesnar looks like he's about to kill someone!

King: Well I'll say one thing,JR, that ref is incredibly brave.
JR: Taking on those two men, sure!

King: He's telling The Rock he might disqualify him for using an outside interference! This is awful for The Rock, can you believe it?!
JR: I think it's stunned everyone, King! We all thought The Rock would sail through this and we were looking at our new champion!

King: Let's not forget that there is a match going on here, Bryan is in the ring recuperating after The Rock's attacks!

JR: No way, he's not eyeing that up is he?
King: He could break his neck doing that!

JR: My God, these men have completely lost focus of what's going on in the ring, this could be disastrous for The Rock!
King: Even more disastrous? I can't believe that's actually possible.

King: My God! No!




King: Oh! My God! The Rock moved the referee into the way, and Bryan just went right through him!
JR: That was insane! Bryan trying that high risk move there, and my God did it not pay off!

King: Look at these two men. Look at how happy they are, this is their jackpot!

JR: This isn't going to be pretty, The Rock has gone under the ring.. There's only one reason he would've gone there..

King: Woah, The Rock's got that table and Lesnar's got him up for an F-5! Surely not on that concrete floor!?
